Restructuring / turnaround
Situation
In many cases, the results − and often also the way in which they are obtained − do not (any more) correspond to the expectations and standards set by the "best in class". Therefore, the weak spots and the necessary actions [see Toolbox] must be identified, and their rapid implementation needs to be ensured, especially if a turnaround is required.
Offer
This is another typical situation for the icima interim manager. He has the necessary first-hand experience from particularly well-managed and therefore successful companies and can therefore quickly come to his own conclusions, independently of the local management and staff.
This allows him to optimize the structures and procedures and, if necessary, also to adjust the number and qualification of the human resources, in close coordination with the headquarters.
Whenever there is a need for some deep cuts, in the context of a turnaround situation, it is often better to have them suggested by a neutral third party instead of the parent company or the investor. This way, the latter are better protected and keep their margin of manoeuvre.
